Trust often gets left out of the internet marketing equation, but is held highly to almost everyone. If it’s so important to you, then you need to keep in mind that it’s also important to others. When you first started your MLM business, you were told to reach out to your warm market to generate leads. That’s because you already have a relationship built with your friends and family and they trust you. It’s a fast start strategy to see a quick return. But what happens when your warm market list dwindles down and you run out of leads?
That’s when your up-line gives you traditional mlm techniques and systems to put into place to expand your list, which include the ”3 foot rule”, business cards, cold calling, referrals and Facebook marketing. These ideas are okay, but are better for experience compared to generating quality leads in your MLM business. You will quickly find that you are putting in way more time and effort for little results.
Becoming a pro means understaing that trust is the key ingredient inside making a sale. The saying goes, “people don’t like to be sold, but they like to spend money.” The truth is people don’t mind being sold, as long as they like and trust you.
There are over a hundred ways to generate leads, but it takes time and money.

In the Network Marketing World, “content is key”. If that content is just laying under a rock, it will never get noticed and that means no traffic and no leads.
Social media sites are an open platform to many individuals, including those that have no knowledge of attraction marketing. I still see tons of people spamming links to their business site daily. I really feel like leaving a comment on all of them, but I don’t because I know it’s just the fact that they don’t know any better; an I was once in their position. Majority of these people are either new to internet marketing or they are using the traditional methods of network marketing and new to social media.

One of the hardest things most people have to uncover before success really hits home has nothing to do with their marketing skills, but more about mindset and how they are programmed. You hear every five and six figure network marketer talk about mindset before anything else, right?. Why all the “mindset crap?” It’s repeated over and over again because it’s so true and it takes a lot of time to train yourself. So, don’t give up and don’t take it for granted! When I first got into Internet Marketing I was the worst at “thinking” I was educating myself and growing my business, but in reality I never took the corrective action that was needed to make it a habit and build success online. I would start a book and not finish it.. I would watch a video and be ALL pumped up, ready to finally make that change in my business; to just let life (excuses) get in the way.
I would talk to my mentor about all these ideas I had that would get me to success, to get off the phone and feel alone and scared to start. I would spend 3-4 hours “trying” to write a blog post while catching up on the latest episodes of House. Then I would say, I’ll just finish it in the morning, but it wouldn’t get done. This isn’t the way other internet marketers built a successful online empire.

Most people who have been on the internet marketing their business for several months, but have not had any results, QUIT! Not you right? You are out there searching for that secret, that one clue that is going to make you thousands and thousands.
Listen, there is NO secret, but there is a strategy. You can learn how to create an internet marketing plan of action if you just think then do. You don’t need to be an expert, but you do need to apply what you already know. It’s not one strategy that everyone is doing that you just don’t know about. It’s about creating YOUR own strategy and the first part of that strategy is a plan of action.
Listen, you already know what you need to do, but you just have not done it yet. That’s TAKE ACTION!!!!!

In order to be a leader you have to learn what qualities and skills people are need leadership in! That means changing the way you are now, re-routing your thoughts, and having a positive mindset. With successful thinking comes successful outcomes! The first step to becoming a powerful leader is creating a leadership skills lists. When I say create a leadership skills list, I mean literally write it down. If you want to make a change in your life, that means creating a positive attitude and doing something differently that you have been doing for years. People do not change over night, and changing your mindset is difficult. Say that a few times to plant it a seed in your brain, because most people start to get off track or fail at something, and never reach their goals.
In order to change your attitude though, you need to incorporate your new behaviors down to a daily routine. This is very important, and remember when you are making a change you must start small. Unfortunately we are wired wrong, and when we set high goals and don’t see results, we give up! So, your daily routine is something you do daily without fail, so that it comes naturally without conscious thought. If you take a look at anything you have done that is successful, you will probably notice you have developed a routine or system for it. When you execute a system, it makes life easier! Writing your leadership skills list will help you take daily actions to become more automated, comfortable, and more effective at what you do. You can’t just write it down, and throw it away. I keep mine by my bed at night, so I can read it then and first thing when I wake up!
